Clinics

The Nurses run a number of clinics and appointments for these are made via the receptionists.

Ante-Natal Clinic

There is a midwife run weekly clinic in both our Chepstow and Sedbury Surgeries.

Child Health & Immunisation Clinic

Baby clinics operate weekly at both our Chepstow and Sedbury surgery. These are run by the Practice Nurses and a Doctor.

Phlebotomy Appointments

Phlebotomists are people trained to draw blood.

If you require bloods to be taken for a consultant they would have to provide the labels and you will be referred to the outpatient department in Chepstow Community hospital for the bloods to be taken. To book an appointment please call 07891314067.

Health Care Assistant Appointments

Their duties include phlebotomy, giving some immunisations, blood pressure checks, ECG’s, spirometry, dressings urinalysis and well person checks.

If you speak to our receptionists they will help you in deciding which is the most appropriate service for your needs, a general outline is all they need and your conversation is confidential.

Routine Health Checks

Routine health checks can be booked with the nurses.

• All patients newly registered with the Practice can request a routine health check with the nurses
• For patients over 75 a health check can be requested annually
• For those patients under 75 a health check can be requested every 5 years.
